  What a pleasant surprise! We were looking for a refreshment after a week of fish, chips and mussels but no proper veggies, and got this.
  
  Fresh pasta, plentiful salads, great service and superb atmosphere. This place is also very kid friendly which was a bonus.
  
  For late dinners I recommend calling and reserving, as last seating is around 20:00

  By far my favourite restaurant on the island and I'd say one of the best as well. I always recommend Bistro On Roe to anyone even passing by Gander, great job!

  Best food and service I've had on the island hands down. Plates were taken away post haste, food was prepared in a timely fashion. Bread was very fresh too. The pork was over three inches thick, cooked perfectly. The gf had the ravioli, she's still talking about it! While in gander, this restaurant is a must see. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant.
